Business Card

This is my unprofessional business card for the Black Swan group. I made it with Adobe Fireworks CS6. For the swan it was a pre-made shape and I just added filters for a the bevel and the small glow around each one. I gave each one a gradient called folds and the left one got the preset colors of spectrum, and the right has pastels. The three stars are just from the shape menu.

This is the mid level business card I made for class. I made it using the text and shapes. For the two swans I gave them gradients of linear with the red and blue preset colors. I then made a circle with a donut on top of it with the same color set but with the gradient of radial and linear. I also made the text white and contact information and black swan group italicized.

This is the professional business card that I made in adobe fireworks. I gave the background a gradient called contour with the Black and white color presets. Between each line of text is an enter to space them out. The swans have a gradient of radial which i moved around a little to get the desired effect.

Filmstrip

This is the filmstrip project we worked on. What it is is a few different squares of a picture when they are pieced together it makes up a bigger picture, kind of like a puzzle. How I made it was that I first got a good picture from the internet. Then what I did was that I used the marquee tool to take different squares of the picture then I just bordered each one with a 5 pixel black solid line. Finally I just rotated a few of the pictures to make it look like a bunch of pictures lying on a table or something.

Pointilism: Color Wheel.

Here is the color wheel that I made with fireworks. It started as a picture and I just used the paintbrush tool at the correct sizes as designated in the corners of each square. And I basically then filled each of the color wheels with the color that was picked with the color picker. After the first and second ones it took longer because the dot got so small because you had to fill in more. And as it got smaller it looked like more of a better picture each time.
