Emotions
The emotion for this picture is amazement represented as a shooting star. It is pretty amazing to see a shooting star so I thought it fit the emotion. How I made this picture was by making a star shape and then using skew to make it look like it is moving, to add to that effect I also added a few lines behind it to indicate motion. The background is just a rectangle with an ellipse gradient on it with the preset colors black and white which I customized a little bit.

The emotion in this picture is grief. I chose this to represent grief because it looks like you are crying. You have a blurry vision usually and there are obviously tears. How I made this picture was with a background of a rectangle with a gradient on it of the Satin type. The colors I made it were a blue majority with some black.and I made teardrop shapes making an ellipse/circle then using the reshape area tool I made it into a teardrop. I then click and dragged, while holding the alt key, the shape and made copies of the teardrop shape.

The emotion in this picture is joy or ecstasy. I made it like this because joy can spread out to the people around you and infect them, making them happy as well. I made this picture by making a gradient rectangle and giving it the gradient called star-burst. I then proceeded to change the colors according to the emotion I was trying to display. I then added the spiral shape and made it extremely blurry so you can hardly see it. I then changed the color to each spiral a light orange.
________________________________________________________________________________
The emotion in this picture is rage. I thought something breaking out or something destroying could easily represent rage. I made this shape by making a gradient rectangle for the background. The shape itself is just a rectangle that I changed with the sub select tool and then I put stars to make it look like something is trying to break out.
__________________________________________________________________________________
The emotion for this picture is terror. I made it look like this because terror is a lot of things and this picture shows something strane and you can't see it clealy. How I made this video was just a gradient background that is called satin with customized colors. And I made the edges a thick feather.

Customized Text
This customized text was made with the elephant font type. By using an option in the text drop down menu called convert to paths you can make each letter its own shape. I then used the Auto-select tool to change their shape to make them one of a kind. I then proceeded to give each one a cone gradient with each one having a different preset of color combinations. After I was done with that I gave each one a different color glow from the filters. Also from the filters I gave each letter different kinds of blurs.

Cornucopia
This is my cornucopia I made using different shapes and tools in Firefox. I mainly used circles and the free form tool to make my different fruits and vegatables. I made the indent in apple and the orange by using the reshape area tool under the free form tool options. I made the stems using the L-Shape then I made the shape different with the subselsect tool. I made the cornucopia using overlapping cicrles to make it look like it was 3-Dimensional. I then made the middle of the biggest circle darker to make it look hollow. I made the canvas color an orange to contrast all of the colors so you can see them all easily. I made the grapes by making a circle, changing its color and then just copying and pasting it enough times that you think is appropiate. I made the pumpkin by stacking a few ovals and making them orange. I made the corn by making an oval then putting criss crossing lines.

Optimizing and Exporting Graphics -
Optimizing and Exporting Graphics -
Optimizing and exporting graphics help people put images on to the interent. To optimize graphics you have to go to the optimize panel and make the image as small as you can so it can load faster on your website. To help optimize you can minimize the amount of colors are in your graphic. To export graphics you have to click the export option and save it as a PNG file with different name, make sure it has a different name or it will erase the original copy and you wont be able to edit it.
Nameplates
This is my basic nameplate. I made a square for the background and i gave it the texture of an oil slick with a transparency effect of grain. For the text it is in elephant font with the fill of a gradient cone with the White, Black color preset. I then scaled the text to fit the canvas and centered and aligned it. Then I put a filter on the text. The filter was an outer glow. I made it a neon green color.
I made this mid-level nameplate using Adobe Fireworks CS3. It has a length of 300 pixels and a height of 200 pixels. Its resolution is 200. I made it by making a basic rectangle with the Rectangle Tool. I customized the rectangle by changing its Fill to a Gradient. I chose the Gradient effect called Contour. The preset colors for the Gradients Black, White. Then added a text box to put in my name with the Text Tool. The text font size of my name is 110.13. Then I rotated the text to a different angle.
